Lime Class Update

Firstly, thank you very much for all booking a Parents Evening slot. We hope you feel it gave you an insight to your child's learning and that you all came away feeling extremely proud. We will be holding an 'open classroom' at a later date, where you will be invited to look at your children's books and explore the classroom more freely.

We have had another extremely busy couple of weeks in Lime Class! We are continuing our Great Fire of London topic and it is so lovely to see all the children so engaged in their learning.

The children built fantastic houses and had so much fun in Forest School, where they recreated Pudding Lane, 1666.

This week we have had our Wow Day, where the children had the opportunity to make stop-motion movies of the fire starting, create collages and bake pizza and bread. Please ask them all about it!

English: We have looked at the book 'Vlad and the Great Fire of London' and have written character descriptions.

Maths: We have been learning how to divide multiples of 2,5 and 10 through grouping and sharing. Please continue to practice at home.

Topic: We have compared Fire Safety in 1666 and present the day.

Please can we ask you help your child learn their lines for the Nativity off by heart. If there are any issues in sourcing a costume, please get in touch. The children are very excited to perform!

Any questions you may have, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
