St Lawrence Primary School operates an Early Club from 7.45am to 8.45am for each day that the school is open. The club is run by a qualified adult and all members of staff involved have been fully DBS checked. The club was originally formed to accommodate the needs of families whose work commitments have an impact on domestic arrangements and has proved to be very successful since its introduction in 2005.
The children can choose from a range of activities including arts and crafts, games (both board games and physical activities), DVDs and an opportunity to do homework.
If you are interested in your child attending the Early Club please complete the attached registration form and return it to school. Once registered you may use the facility on a regular or an occasional basis.
All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance to secure a place. The cost per session is currently £2.75. Payments can now be made using electronic childcare vouchers. Please note if you turn up on an ad hoc basis and places are available you will be charged the new ad hoc rate of £5 per session.
The number of available places is based on recommended staff to pupil ratios per the EYFS framework. Within current staffing levels we can take a maximum of 16 children in any session.
Please see the attached terms and conditions for further information relating to Early club charges, registration, booking and payments and other sundry information.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
